This 5ml sample cup is manufactured from only new, pure polystyrene. They fit in most 4ml sample cup trays (they are 4mm taller). They have a flat bottom instead of conical allowing for an increase in sample volume. They are commonly used with segmented flow analyzers. They allow for more sample to be aspirated into the analyzer, allowing for a longer sample time, resulting in better readings.
