FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) tubing has a slightly higher coefficient of friction relative to PTFE (Teflon) and a lower maximum working temperature relative. It has excellent UV transmittance, is auto-clavable, has low solvent absorption (<1%) and low gas and vapor permeability.
